NEW OEM 2004 2005 2006 GTO Steering Rack

Brand new OEM steering rack for the 2004-2006 Pontiac GTO.  These are the KYB racks which were used on late 2006 production GTOs, and also served as the replacement rack when a dealership had to replace one starting in 2006.  KYB racks can typically be identified by the gray dust boot.

The KYB rack can be used on any year GTO as it is complete from tie rod to tie rod. Replacement outer tie rods are available from GM for future needs despite what some vendors may claim.  There are also aftermarket variants available.

Install: If you don't currently have a KYB rack, you will need 2 nuts total to mount the outer tie rods. The part number is 11609618, we do not carry them.

Shipping: Shipping will range from about $65 in the Northeast to about $110 on the West Coast including insurance and signature confirmation.  These must be signed for due to the amount of insurance. 

We typically ship the racks on weekends due to the amount of time it takes to package them.  If you need it sooner, please contact us before purchasing.

Local pickup is available on Long Island.

Disclaimer:  These racks are brand new GM overstock that we were able to acquire. GM does not have any stock of these, and they have been discontinued for about 2 years. The steering racks had a list price of $1,360 when they were available; We were able to source them and sell them for approximately half of that price.  With that said, the racks are sold as is.  We do inspect all of the racks before shipping them to make sure there is no damage or leaks.   Please inspect the steering rack when it arrives so we can resolve an issue if there should be one.  By purchasing these steering racks, you also agree to our terms and conditions which can be found under the legal section at the bottom of the page.
