2009 G8 Red/Black Cluster with GXP Overlay Included (Free Shipping)
This is a brand new 2009.5 OEM Red/Black G8 cluster. All GXPs were 2009.5 models, but some 2009 G8's (non GXP) were 2009.1 designations, and these will not work on pre 09.5 G8s. There are a few ways to tell if you have a 2009.5, but the easiest way is to look at the vin. The last 6 digits after the L will start with a 3. Also, on the RPO code list, you will have BSI which signifies the 2009.5 models.
Also included is an OEM GXP gauge overlay to be able to make this a NOS GXP gauge cluster. We do not offer installation but there are many videos showing how to remove a gauge face and needles off an instrument cluster. You can see the picture where I unclipped the lens that the original overlay has the same writing/barcode as the overlay we include. GM didn't sell the overlays separate, but we were able to source them.
